At our nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to empowering and uplifting our community through a variety of initiatives and services. From hosting food drives to offering career fairs and resume-building classes, we are committed to providing valuable resources and support to all members of our community. Our values center around inclusion, support, and the belief that everyone deserves access to opportunities for growth and success. RC3-Connected was founded in 2024.

Founder & Executive Director

Cheyney Corry is the President and CEO of RC3 connected for Nonprofits. Cheyney’s nonprofit sector experience spans over 5 years, and includes expertise in public policy, compliance and management issues. She writes and speaks frequently to the media, nonprofit, philanthropic and business leaders regarding the size, strength, economic and social contributions of RC3 connected nonprofit sector and current and emerging trends facing the nonprofit community; and has successfully mobilized broad-based coalitions of nonprofits around numerous advocacy issues. Cheyney has a associates degree in Liberal Arts, Business Management and Health science. She also has certificates in home health, certified nursing assistant, medical assistant, EKG technician and Phlebotomist. Cheyney’s greatest strength is helping people.

Vice President

Richard Smith III joined our team in March 2024 and is now our Vice President, leading our work in growing and strengthening membership; maximizing the membership, and building increased engagement and connection between and among the Center and members/potential members and other partners and constituencies. He has a bachelor degree in Liberal Arts and Drug & Alcohol Counseling. Richard served 5 years in the US Navy as a hospital Corpsman (HM). He is now a honorably discharged Veteran. Richard loves helping the community and his expertise in public policy, compliance and management issues.

Secretary

Marcellus Corry Sr joined our team in March 2024 and is now our secretary, leading our work in growing and strengthening membership; maximizing the membership, and building increased engagement and connection between and among the Center and members/potential members and other partners and constituencies. He has a passion for public service and government. He enjoyed a 19 year tenure with NJ EP Henry & International Papers as a machine operator. He now volunteers serving the homeless with food and basic essentials.
